Quick answer
If you want a statement piece for your holiday decor, go with the 13-inch Large Gizmo plush. If you prefer a desk-friendly collectible or a budget-friendly gift, the 7.5-inch Phunny plush is the better fit.
Size and presence
The most obvious difference between these two Gizmo plushies is their size. The Large version stands 13 inches tall—roughly the height of a standard ruler—making it a noticeable addition to any shelf, bed, or holiday display. The Phunny plush is 7.5 inches, which is closer to the size of a typical action figure or a small throw pillow.
Both are pre-order items, so plan ahead if you need them by a specific date.
Price and value
The Large Gizmo plush is priced at $24.41 (compared to $36.99), while the Phunny plush costs $12.23 (compared to $17.99). The Large offers more plush per dollar, but the Phunny is an easy impulse buy or stocking stuffer.
Trade-offs at a glance
- 13-inch Large Plush: Best for making a visible impact in a room or as a huggable holiday buddy. The bigger size means it takes up more display space. Great for collectors who want a centerpiece or a soft gift for a Gremlins fan.
- 7.5-inch Phunny Plush: Ideal for smaller spaces, travel, or as an affordable gift. You lose the larger presence but gain portability and a lower price. Perfect for a desk companion, stocking stuffer, or starting a mini plush collection.
- Both share the same design: Both plushies feature Gizmo's classic look with a festive Santa hat. The choice comes down to size and budget, not character accuracy. Either option delivers the same nostalgic charm.
