Free Hugs Bear -taidehahmo – Blue Edition

The blue paint job has this weird matte finish that makes it look almost too real, and the way it’s frozen mid-hug really gets under your skin. I’ve had it on my shelf for a week and every guest does a double-take, which is exactly the unsettling vibe I needed.

The unsettling pose is exactly what I wanted for my shelf—it’s got that weird, almost uncomfortable charm that makes guests do a double take every time. The blue finish is clean and the paint job has no smudges, which I appreciate for a piece this quirky.

The blue paint job is moodier in person than in photos, and the bear’s outstretched arms really do make you do a double-take before you laugh. It’s sitting on my shelf now and every guest who spots it asks what’s wrong with it, which is exactly the conversation starter I wanted.
