A practical buying guide to the Scrooge McDuck Phunny Plush: size, price, display tips, and who it suits before you add it to your DuckTales collection.
Quick answer
Buy the Scrooge McDuck Phunny Plush if you want a small, affordable DuckTales collectible that works as a desk or shelf display and a light cuddle. Skip it if you need a large pillow-sized plush or a full set of nephews in one purchase.
What the 7.5-inch size means in practice
At 7.5 inches tall, Scrooge fits on a bookshelf, monitor stand, or bedside table without crowding the space. That makes him a good candidate for a character-focused display rather than a bed-sized plush. If you plan to display him next to larger figures, put him at the front so he does not get lost.
The small size also means he is easy to pack for a trip or move between rooms. It is not a body pillow or a plush you would lean against for support.
Price and catalog comparison
The catalog price is USD 11.55, with a comparison price of USD 16.99. That puts it in impulse-buy territory for a licensed Disney collectible. Because the catalog lists only a Title option, there is no size or color choice to make at checkout.
If you are buying for a gift, the low price leaves room to pair it with another small item. If you are buying for yourself, it is a low-risk way to add a DuckTales character to an existing Kidrobot or Disney shelf.
Where the Scrooge plush fits in a DuckTales collection
The product description names Scrooge and his nephews Dewey, Huey, and Louie, but this listing is for Scrooge alone. If your goal is the full Duckberg group, plan for separate purchases rather than expecting a set in one box.
Scrooge works well as a standalone character piece because he is the recognizable anchor of the DuckTales cast. Fans who already own other Kidrobot Phunny Disney plush can group him by character family, while Disney collectors may prefer to keep him with other cartoon-era pieces.
Care and display expectations
The catalog does not list care instructions, fabric details, or age recommendations. Treat those as open questions and check the packaging or product page before buying for a young child. For display, keep the plush out of direct sun and away from damp areas to help it stay presentable.
Because this is a collectible-style plush, avoid heavy machine washing unless the care label confirms it is safe. Spot cleaning is the safer default when no instructions are supplied.
Decision rules for DuckTales fans
- If you want a small display piece: Choose this plush when you have about 8 inches of shelf or desk space and want a recognizable DuckTales character at the front of the display. Measure your shelf first; 7.5 inches is smaller than a standard throw pillow.
- If you expect a full cast set: Do not buy this expecting Dewey, Huey, and Louie to be included. The listing is for Scrooge alone, so budget for separate nephew plush if you want the group.
- If you are buying for a young child: Check the packaging or product page for age and safety information before handing it over, since the catalog does not state an age rating or care instructions. When safety details are missing, confirm them with the store before purchase.
- If you want a cuddle-sized plush: Pass on this one and look for a larger plush instead. At 7.5 inches, Scrooge is better suited to display and light handling than to hugging at night.
- If you are comparing Kidrobot Phunny Disney plush: Use character preference and size as your main filters. This Scrooge is a low-cost way to test the Phunny format before buying more Disney characters.
